When one misses love, support, direction, self-esteem... as a child; one's total demeanor sometimes becomes warped, distorted, confused...prone to a life of confusion, destruction, dismay, low self-worth... a dependence on others for everything, including one's very own validation.
However, this does not have to be the case. People have to realize that they are responsible for their own actions as adults--their fits of anger, disillusionment and dismay...all those negative, Satan-inflicted bouts with evil that threaten to change people into Satanic agents, roaming rampantly in the midst of an otherwise sane world. Indeed, There is hope for these people! There is a remedy for those who are warped, distorted, confused... about their identies.
First of all, adults must realize that only they are responsible for their actions--no matter what unfortunate circumstances in life befell them as children--once they become adults, they alone are responsible for the choices they make. If they mistreat another human being or cause physical, mental, or emotional harm to another person, only they are responsible; and only they will suffer the consequences for their actions.
Face it! Adults assume responsibility for their own actions, or they cease to reap adult benefits in this world. My advice to those consumed with bitterness, dispair and confusion about childhood experiencs--Get over it! Grow up! Get on with life! You're only hurting yourself!
