My Dear, Holy, Almighty Heavenly Father,
Thank you for blessing me and my soul mate with eight beautiful, brilliant, absolutely awesome children. My heart fills with joy at each thought of their amazing spirits...and at the presence of their total beings. Now Lord, two of them and friend Patrice are headed to Jamacia to have the time of their lives!
Lord, please enter their minds, hearts and spirits and go with them each moment of this vacation: lead them; guide them; help them decide each step that they take...each decision that they make... each conversation, action, reaction, and inaction that they undertake.... Walk with them; talk with them; lead them into the path of goodness and righteousness and happiness.... Bless them with the peace,joy and contentment that only You and Your Holy Spirit can give them. Shine down upon them in Spirit and in Truth each moment of their days and nights of this vacation and bring them home safely, excited, renewed...ready, willing and able to go forth and live out the lives that You have decreed for them.
Lord, I realize that their young minds will imagine mischief and detours from your Holy Will. Their precious hearts and bodies will be tempted in various situations. But, Lord, give them a glimpse of You in the midst of Satan's interventions. Help them to overcome his demonic endeavors and to know that in You--only in You and Your Holy Spirit--can they have total joy, peace, contentment, and lasting satisfaction.
They have learned of You all their lives. They know the glory of Your goodness and Eternal Holy Presence. Live in them, I pray.
These blessings I ask in Your Precious Son Jesus' name..... Amen.
