Families...
God gave us gifts of
love, divine—strong chains to help us, life, withstand:
Our families--bequeathed
at birth, complete with bonds of genes and blood—
Are gifts to shield us
through life’s storms...
to hold our hands and
keep us strong; and when it’s cold, to keep us warm.
Our families form
life’s great chains, and bring forth hope beyond our dreams.
At birth, God gave us
families—our heritage and those now here
enrich our lives and show us how to be the best that we can
be.
Indeed, we are what
family gives—our height and size...our hues, our eyes...
even how we chase our hearts desires can all be traced to
family ties.
We can’t escape this
sacred link, for we’re the product family brings--
Our destinies are in
these genes—our hopes...our dreams...our everything!
And as we tread life’s
battlefield, our families are what is real.
They are the chains;
we’re merely links--receptacles of family strength.
We are reflections of
those chains—our names, our characters, our fame.
And, when we’re gone;
our deeds remain, encumbered in our family chains.
Let’s keep our chains
on one accord; all other ties are nil and void.
The preservation of ourselves
resides within our families’ realms.
God gives us families
at birth to form our base and aid our growth.
Our families go on and
on, reminding all that we have come
And lived as links
within the chains that bears our genes and family names.
All that we are and
hope to be transpires because of family.
